kree-ey-tiv-i-tee is an evening of creative music, art, and words.
On April 7th the Shemer Arts Center will partner with the City of Phoenix Parks & Recreation Department to present SOUNDS Academy students and special guest Patrick Armstrong as they play songs by Beyoncé, Green Day, and more.
SOUNDS Academy is a non-profit music education program whose mission is to teach, mentor, and provide musical experiences and opportunities for underserved youth. The program is designed to work with individual students and schools to provide access to quality music education on strings instruments.
The Speak E's Toastmasters will give inspiring speeches on the topic of creativity and guests can enjoy the Shemer's current art exhibit titled "Photography with Presence: Aura in the Modern Age."
Join the Creative Outfit Contest and bring an instrument to play during the jam session. Come to hear great music and words, see wonderful art, and support music education in Arizona.
Please RSVP to (602) 262-4727.
